Whoa, boy. That is a tricky one to answer. That is a surprisingly tricky question. They are all my alterations. I guess they are like collages, borrowed (stolen) bits, layered. Very few could I claim as entirely my creations. Some are images I found on line, then tinkered with. The only one I could call purely mine is the pear-shape self portrait. The pears and the brick are photoshop shapes, with a re-shaped laptop camera photo head. Photoshop Elements is an incredible tool for the un-talented. I can spend hours moving pre-existing pixels around, but don’t ask me to conceive something new. How visual artists can CREATE from nothing, that astounds me.
